Who we are
RunAPilot is a service operated by GA Infotech, LLC. Our mailing address is 3245 Peachtree Pkwy, Suite D203, Suwanee, GA 30024, United States. This policy applies to runapilot.com, the RunAPilot application, and research pilots hosted through the service.
When GA Infotech operates a pilot, we determine how the submitted information is used. When a customer operates a pilot, that customer determines the research purpose and has access to the resulting evidence, while GA Infotech processes the information to provide RunAPilot. An operator may provide an additional privacy notice that also applies to its pilot.
Information we collect
- Survey evidence: answers, completion status, and whether you expressed interest in an interview or pilot.
- Optional contact details: name, email address, phone number, company, and website when you choose to provide them.
- Attribution and funnel activity: referral URL, UTM parameters, landing variant or creative key, supported advertising click identifiers such as gclid, gbraid, wbraid, and fbclid, and events such as landing views, CTA clicks, survey starts, survey completions, and lead capture.
- Account and service information: administrator account details, pilot configuration, hypotheses, landing-page content, survey questions, and service activity.
- Advertising connection data: connected account identifiers and names, campaign metadata, currency, daily impressions, clicks, spend, and encrypted OAuth credentials for authorized Google Ads or Meta Ads accounts.
- Technical information: information ordinarily included in web requests and security logs, such as IP address, browser or device information, timestamps, and requested pages.
How we use information
We use information to operate and secure RunAPilot, host research pilots, preserve first-touch attribution, measure pilot funnels, display evidence to authorized pilot operators, synchronize authorized advertising performance, respond to support and privacy requests, and comply with law. A pilot operator may use responses to evaluate demand and may contact you when you provide contact information and request follow-up, interview participation, or pilot access.
AI-assisted analysis
At a pilot operator’s direction, RunAPilot may send relevant pilot context and survey evidence to OpenAI to produce structured qualitative analysis, hypothesis evaluations, or recommendations. Dedicated respondent contact fields are not intentionally included in those analysis requests, although a free-text answer may contain information a respondent chose to enter. These requests are made with provider-side response storage disabled. AI output is stored separately from raw responses and does not replace or alter the underlying evidence.
Google Ads and Meta Ads
Advertising integrations are read-only. RunAPilot uses authorized access to retrieve account and campaign metadata and performance such as spend, impressions, and clicks. RunAPilot does not create ads, publish campaigns, change targeting, modify bids or budgets, or pause or resume campaigns. Respondent answers and contact details are not sent to Google Ads or Meta Ads. An operator can revoke platform access or disconnect an account from RunAPilot.
Cookies and first-touch attribution
RunAPilot uses essential, first-party cookies to connect a visit with a pilot and survey response. The visitor cookie may remain for up to one year, and the in-progress response cookie may remain for up to 30 days. We do not use device fingerprinting or session replay. If non-essential advertising or analytics technologies are added, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated before they are used.
How information is shared
Information may be available to the authorized operator of the applicable pilot and to vendors that help us provide hosting, security, storage, support, AI analysis, and other service functions. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect the service or its users, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets subject to appropriate protections. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Retention
We retain pilot evidence and account information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain a reproducible research record, meet contractual or legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service. Advertising credentials are retained until the connection is revoked, disconnected, or no longer needed. Deletion from backups and security records may take additional time where immediate removal is not technically practical or legally required.
Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You may submit a request to [email protected]. Please identify the pilot you used and provide enough information for us to locate the applicable response. We may need to verify your identity and may direct a request to the applicable pilot operator.
Security and international processing
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information we process, including encrypted advertising credentials and restricted administrative access. No service can guarantee absolute security. RunAPilot is operated from the United States, and information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate.
Children
RunAPilot is not directed to children under 13, and pilot operators may not knowingly use the service to collect children’s personal information without the notice and consent required by applicable law. Contact us if you believe a child submitted personal information improperly.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy here and update the date above. Material changes will be communicated through the service when appropriate.
